Walls of glass carry Proposal Rock and the open ocean through the house, so the view follows you. Original work from the Proposals Artist Residency hangs throughout, a house that rewards a slow second look.
Step out and the coast is yours: long beach walks, sunsets behind Proposal Rock, driftwood bonfires in the sand. The ancient ghost forest the house is named for surfaces from the sand at low water, 2,000-year-old Sitka spruce just past the door. Come back to the private ocean-view spa, fireplace, and a prepare the local catch in a well-appointed kitchen.
About the Beach House
The house: Three bedrooms, three baths, sleeps six. One ocean-facing deck plus a second deck, and a fireplace. The lower suite is fully private and can be closed off, ideal for a couple sharing with friends or family.
The kitchen: A well-appointed chef's kitchen with an oversized island and gas range, espresso machine, stand mixer, and everything set for a long dinner in, down to the serveware.
For unwinding: A private ocean-view spa, a fireside library, and an entertainment room with a Peloton.
At the beach: Beach chairs and sand toys ready by the door, the shore steps away, and long evenings made for a beach bonfire as the sun drops behind Proposal Rock.
Comforts: Luxury linens, two smart TVs, Sonos sound throughout, fast wifi, and a BBQ on the deck.
